Role Overview
We are looking for a customer-focused Cashier to join our Grab & Go concept at Oman Airport. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a seamless customer experience by processing transactions accurately, maintaining product availability, and ensuring the store is always clean, organized, and ready for customers.
You will also support daily operations by managing the POS system, monitoring chiller displays, replenishing stock, and coordinating with the dispatch and operations teams to ensure timely product availability and smooth order fulfillment.

Main Responsibilities
Welcome customers and provide a friendly, efficient, and professional service.
Process customer purchases accurately using the Foodics/FoodX POS system.
Handle cash, card, and digital payment transactions while following company cash handling procedures.
Ensure the cashier station is clean, organized, and fully operational throughout the shift.
Monitor the Grab & Go chillers to ensure products are well-stocked, properly displayed, and within expiry dates.
Replenish products and rotate stock using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet Calo's presentation and food safety standards.
Coordinate with the dispatch and operations teams to replenish inventory and maintain product availability.
Communicate any stock shortages, product issues, or operational concerns promptly.
Assist with receiving and organizing stock deliveries when required.
Ensure accurate labeling and pricing of products.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve concerns professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the Grab & Go area.
Follow all company policies related to food safety, hygiene, health, and safety.
Support the team with other operational duties as required.
Ideal Candidate
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cashier, retail, or customer service role, preferably within F&B, convenience retail, or Grab & Go concepts.
Experience using Foodics/FoodX POS systems is highly preferred.
Experience working in a fast-paced retail or airport environment is an advantage.
Currently based in Oman or eligible to work in Oman.
Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
Knowledge & Competencies
Proficiency in using POS systems, preferably Foodics/FoodX.
Strong cash handling and transaction management skills.
Understanding of stock replenishment and inventory rotation (FIFO).
Ability to monitor and maintain chilled product displays.
Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.
Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
