Why This Role Matters
Q-Commerce is one of Calo's fastest-growing business channels, and this role sits at the heart of its growth.
As our Q-Commerce Lead, you'll own Calo's performance across aggregator platforms with full accountability for driving online sales, strengthening strategic partnerships, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
You'll lead two distinct business models that require different commercial strategies:
- Restaurant Aggregators
Manage Calo as a restaurant across food delivery platforms such as Talabat, HungerStation, Jahez, Careem, Deliveroo, Keeta, Ninja, and more. Your mission is to grow online orders by optimizing menus, pricing, promotions, visibility, and delivery performance.
- Marketplace & CPG
Manage Calo's packaged products across Calo Market, grocery marketplaces, and aggregator-operated dark stores. Your mission is to maximize product discoverability, assortment, merchandising, availability, pricing, and promotional performance to accelerate sales.
Across both channels, you'll act as the commercial owner, working closely with Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Experience, and external partners to unlock sustainable growth and continuously improve platform performance.
Time Split Per Model
Restaurant Aggregators (On-Demand): 3 days/week (Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday)
Marketplace & CPG (Market): 2 days/week (Monday & Wednesday)
What You'll Do
Restaurant Aggregators
Own Calo's restaurant presence across leading food delivery platforms.
Drive online sales by optimizing menus, pricing, promotions, bundles, add-ons, keywords, and platform visibility.
Improve order volume, average order value (AOV), repeat purchases, customer ratings, and delivery performance.
Partner with Operations and Dispatch teams to deliver a seamless customer experience from order placement to delivery.
Marketplace & CPG
Own Calo's packaged product presence across Calo Market, grocery marketplaces, and partner-operated dark stores.
Optimize assortment, merchandising, pricing, promotional campaigns, hero products, and category performance.
Increase basket size, product discoverability, and commercial growth through data-driven merchandising strategies.
Partner with Supply Chain and Logistics teams to ensure product availability, inventory accuracy, and operational excellence.
Across Both Channels
Own the commercial performance and growth strategy across all Q-Commerce channels.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with aggregator partners, negotiating commissions, promotional campaigns, visibility placements, and commercial opportunities.
Monitor and report on key business metrics including revenue, order volume, AOV, conversion, customer retention, ratings, delivery performance, profitability, and platform visibility.
Analyze customer feedback and platform insights to identify opportunities and continuously improve the customer experience.
Partner with Marketing to execute promotional calendars, seasonal campaigns, product launches, and limited-time offers.
Translate business performance into actionable insights and recommendations that drive continuous growth.
What We're Looking For
3–5 years of experience in Q-Commerce, food delivery platforms, marketplace management, aggregator account management, or e-commerce.
Proven experience managing food delivery aggregators such as Talabat, HungerStation, Jahez, Deliveroo, Careem, Keeta, or similar platforms.
Strong commercial mindset with experience owning online sales, revenue, growth, or business KPIs.
Experience negotiating commercial agreements, promotional campaigns, and strategic partnerships.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into business decisions.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
Experience in Customer Experience (CX), Marketing, Digital Merchandising, or Design is a strong plus.
Experience in food-tech, QSR, grocery, retail, or consumer goods is highly preferred.
