Why This Role Matters
We are looking for Nutrition Interns to support Calo’s nutrition customer journey.
The role will focus on proactively supporting customers during their first month with Calo, providing nutrition guidance, monitoring progress, identifying concerns, and escalating issues when needed.
This is a 3-month internship working closely with the Nutrition and Customer Experience teams.
What You’ll Do
Scope 1: Nutrition Consultations
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct nutrition consultations and scheduled outbound follow-up calls with customers.
Assess customers’ goals, medical history, dietary intake, lifestyle factors, and overall progress.
Support customers with plan suitability, calorie intake, portions, meal selection, and weight tracking.
Provide evidence-based nutrition education and practical recommendations aligned with customers’ health and wellness goals.
Identify issues that may affect the customer’s progress and experience with Calo.
Support appropriate adjustments to the customer’s Calo journey when needed.
Document all consultations, recommendations, concerns, and follow-up actions.
Scope 2: CX Nutrition Support
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Customer Experience team with nutrition-related customer inquiries.
Provide clear and accurate responses related to dietary needs, nutritional values, and ingredients.
Support the development and improvement of FAQs, guides, and internal resources used by the CX team.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field within the Bachelors of science.
Valid NHRA license or in the process of obtaining one.
Ability to communicate nutrition information in a simple and practical way.
Good organization and documentation skills.
Who You Are
Bahraini National
Fluent in Arabic and English.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
